Crypto Visa Cards come with no limitations on payments or transactions. Being CVC debit cards, they only work if funds are available on your CP account.
Contactless payments at the point-of-sale terminals are possible as well as payments with Google Pay and Samsung Pay. On the contrary, ApplePay for EU citizens is not supported, but we are working to solve the issue.
Please note that for new cards, we require the first top-up with a maximum of 250EUR, which you can use for one transaction only.
Once the card is active, and you have successfully passed your KYC, the card threshold increases.
If your KYC documents are not up to date, please forward them to the support team. Limits on your card will be removed within 48-72 hours.
To receive a CP BANQ Crypto Visa Card, you must:
1. Register on https://cpbanq.io/ or https://cryptoperformance.io/
2. Verifying your identity by passing your KYC
3. Deposit funds in euros and/or listed cryptocurrencies.
If you have completed these steps, you can order your CP BANQ Crypto Visa Card directly on your dashboard. All you have to do is select the “Cards” menu item and follow the steps displayed.
Please note that to use your funds immediately, you may want to request a virtual card first.
The CP BANQ Crypto Visa Card is a debit card. This means that you cannot create debt when using it. It is linked to your CryptoPerformance Account, and enables you to use the crypto funds you have available. With the CP BANQ Crypto Visa Card you can make online payments, pay for your purchases at the supermarket or withdraw money from an ATM. As the CP BANQ Crypto Visa Card is linked to the Visa payment system, it can be used worldwide at participating Visa merchants.
Currently the CP BANQ Crypto Visa Card is only available to residents of: Aaland Islands, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia – Hrvatska, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guadeloupe, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg , Malta, Martinique, Mayotte, Monaco, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Réunion, Romania, Saint Martin, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Svalbard and Jan Mayen Islands, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
CP BANQ Crypto Visa Cards can be used globally.
The CP BANQ Crypto Visa Card offers you some of the lowest fees on the market. There are no card issuance fees, no monthly account fees and no recurring card and account management fees for your CP BANQ Crypto Visa Card. ATM withdrawals are completely free of charge. The CP BANQ Crypto Visa Card is protected by state-of-the-art Visa fraud prevention systems and is monitored closely by CP BANQ to detect any suspicious behavior. You can also block and unblock your card seamlessly using the CP BANQ mobile App. You also have the option to permanently deactivate your card. Please contact Customer Support for further steps.
As a first step please block your card directly on the dashboard, stating that it has been lost/stolen. If your card is lost, damaged or stolen, you can order a new card in the CP BANQ App for €19.90 (please note your first card is always free). You can only have one active card.
You can connect all accounts listed on the CP BANQ App and Euro currency. You have the option to set up further accounts for cryptocurrencies. From here you can send and receive cryptocurrencies and make deposits.
